One Who is Always Faithful

"The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. 'The LORD is my portion,' says my soul, 'therefore I will hope in Him.'" (Lamentations 3:22-24, ESV)

Jeremiah the prophet wrote these words as he witnessed the devastating defeat of his nation and destruction of its capital. Israel was God's chosen nation and Jerusalem His special city, yet because of their unrelenting rebellion He gave both into the hands of the godless Babylonians. For seventy years the Israelites would remain an oppressed people in a foreign land. Jeremiah (often called "the weeping prophet") saw firsthand the effects of their sin. In spite of it all, the gloom and judgment, he found hope in God's steadfast mercy and faithfulness love.

Today, the world is suffering the effects of sin. People feel the consequences of rebellion toward God and His ways, often without knowing why. Jesus came to give us a hope that transcends any human solution. The gospel is not a man-made self help remedy, but God's personal invitation to share forgiveness and healing. He has made a promise to us that if we believe and obey, "I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins no more" (Hebrews 8:12).

That promise is grounded rock-solid on His proven trustworthiness. Jeremiah saw God's faithfulness, and today we see it in Christ. Let us help you find hope and salvation in Jesus. Feel free to contact us if you want to learn more about this good news!
